Chocolate Crinkles
Based on the comments from this post, I've learned that Chocolate Crinkles are a very popular cookie in many homes. I've also had a few requests for the recipe, so I figured it would be a perfect post for Tempt My Tummy Tuesday.
Chocolate Crinkles
- 4 T. butter or margarine
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 t. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- 1 c. powdered sugar
2. Beat together sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in melted chocolate. Add flour, salt and baking powder until combined. Refrigerate dough for at least 2 hours for easier handling.
3. Using a tablespoon of dough at a time, roll into balls and roll through powdered sugar, making sure to coat completely. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

I have never made these, but always enjoy eating them! Thanks for sharing. TMTT is really going to be fun, this month!
Oh my!!! Ohhhhhh... yummmmyyyy...
Oh, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for posting this recipe! I have already added it to my Christmas cookie list. ; ) Their simplicity is a big plus!
Thanks for the recipe! I'm making these this week - but my recipe calls for Baker's Chocolate Squares rather than chocolate chips. I think I'll try it with Choc. Chips!
Yummy!
I just bookmarked a recipe that uses brownie mix in it, but I think I will keep this one on standby because homemade is usually better.
:)
Love these cookies. I've never made them but they're my favorite from a local restaurant. Recently I read a recipe for these cookies using a brownie mix.
Oh wow! These look yummy!
