Chocolate Chip Pots De Creme
Here is a recipe that is so easy and so delicious. It tastes way too indulgent to be so easy. And it is rich enough that just a little serving goes a long way. Everyone in our family just loves it. (However, a photo doesn't do it justice at all.)
Chocolate Chip Pots De Creme
- 1 egg
- 2 T. sugar
- dash of salt
- 3/4 c. whole milk or half-and-half
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 t. vanilla
2. Remove from heat and whisk in the chocolate chips and vanilla. Pour into a serving dish or individual-sized serving dishes and refrigerate at least 6 hours.
**Variations:
- Top with whipped cream and/or chocolate shavings.
- Replace the vanilla extract with mint, orange or raspberry for a whole new taste.
- Replace the chocolate chips with a cup of dark chocolate chunks or pieces.
