My Blog in May

I've had this thought in the back of my head for the past few days that will just not go away. I'm thinking I might turn May into a real look at our grocery spending/eating habits. I'd post our full shopping list, what we already have, how much money spent, and what we eat every day (including extra freezer meals that I make), and recipes for everything. I think it would be a fun way to keep myself accountable, and to answer some of the questions that I've been getting lately.

Kate-
That is funny, I was thinking of that myself. I think it is a great idea!

Sounds like a wonderful idea. My shopping habits are where I know we can cut a lot of excess spending. I've started making a Master Price List like you made, but I haven't gotten very far on it yet.

I'm looking forward to May!

I'd follow you on your journey.... sounds like a great idea. I am so enthralled by grocery / kitchen /cooking stuff. I think i should have been a home-economics major instead of business marketing!

Toni, you should do it too! That would be fun. The more the merrier!

That sounds like a great idea. With rising gas prices I am looking into ways that I can cut back on my traveling. I think grocery shopping once a month would really help.

That sounds great! :) I'd love to read it!

Kate-
I would love to do it with you. I could have a move coming up next month, but if not I'll do it too!

A Grammatical Disclaimer

I freely admit to consistently using improper grammar in the following areas:
1. I like run-on sentences.
2. I have a tendency to end sentences with a pronoun. (I really do. I can't help it.)
3. I always seem to use passive voice in my sentences. (See?)

I've been trying to break this habit, unsuccessfully, for years, so now I just accept that as my writing style, and since I'm not writing for grades anymore, I embrace it. (Again, see?)
